MakerDAO is backed by Andreessen Horowitz and launched their decentralized stablecoin, DAI, in January of 2018. Their organization is primarily concerned with the maintenance and adoption of this stablecoin. DAI is the world's only decentralized stablecoin, and is by some accounts the most important thing happening in the blockchain space today.
The company name is "Maker" and they operate as a DAO — But what is a "DAO"?

MakerDAO has weekly governance meetings that anyone in the community can participate in, even you! To vote on changes in the system you must be a MakerDAO token holder, called the MKR token, but opinions, viewpoints, and questions are welcome from anyone interested in keeping the system strong.
MakerDAO's endorsement of Mosendo as the chosen payments solution tells us that we are on the right track! The MakerDAO and Mosendo teams share resources and research, as both companies share the same goal of increasing DAI adoption. This literally means passing work product back-and-forth and getting on calls between team members to organize go-to-market strategy.

We also work closely to arrange the financial partnerships that will allow Mosendo to convert between DAI and Fiat across the world. The Maker & Mosendo teams also co-host with us such as the NYC Blockchain Week event, for the San Francisco tech community, and at a fintech InnovFest in Singapore. MakerDAO is integrated in Mosendo's product and is active in business expansion.

Connext Network & Mosendo each aim to expand in the Ethereum, DeFi, & wider crypto communities, and and we are working together together to achieve this for both partners.
Our development teams also work together closely. This literally means four-hour long calls hashing out solutions for integrations that have never, ever been built before. These meetings have resulted cutting in edge technology.
